NUTLEY, NJ — A Nutley resident who thought he was investing in cryptocurrency was recently scammed out of more than $100,000, police said Thursday.
A woman talking to someone on the website Bumble pulled her into a conversation about cryptocurrency, according to the Nutley Police Department. I sent over $100,000 before.
Police are investigating the theft, officials said.
