Charles Hoskinson again denies corruption conspiracy in Ripple case
Charles Hoskinson, founder of the Cardano blockchain ecosystem, once again raised his voice Corruption in the SEC v. Ripple case.
The crypto developer has previously had a similar showdown with members of the XRP community and representatives of Ripple. Hoskinson is one of his five co-founders of Ethereum, which is seen as the main beneficiary of XRP’s legal woes.
The creators of Cardano have again stated that any talk of the US Securities Commission being controlled by Ethereum and being bribed to start chasing Ripple and XRP is a conspiracy theory and this never happened.
These rumors are rooted in former SEC Director William Hinman’s conclusion that ETH is a cryptocurrency and not a security due to its highly decentralized nature. Hinman’s law firm later revealed that he received $1.6 million from the Enterprise Ethereum Alliance. Then there was the lawsuit against Ripple and the intent of regulators to recognize XRP as a security.
Is the end near?
In addition to reiterating his views on the issue of corruption, Hoskinson said: SEC vs Ripple may end. As such, the creators of Cardano answered a question during the live broadcast to share rumors that the trial could end in a matter of days at the earliest, on December 15th to be exact.
